Fraaigelegen Wedding

Elzanne & Edward

It was a perfect spring day for Elzanne and Edward’s Fraaigelegen wedding.  Fraaigelegen wedding venue is just outside Paarl.  We’ve never worked at this rustic wedding venue before.  I must say there’s a lot there in terms of interesting backdrops to get a photographer excited about the couple shoot!

Elzanne & Edward could not be more suited to each other.  Like two peas in a pod, and their friends and family seem to get along like a house on fire too!  We only got to meet Elzanne & Edward on the day of their wedding.  Edward is a laugh a minute, and Elzanne kind and full of fun too!  They are both no frills kinds of people, down to earth and they certainly know how to call a spade a spade!

The boys got ready at De Hollandsche Molen.  Boys will be boys, so of course there were a few beers to be had.  They were a real hoot.  The girls got dressed at one of the rooms at the venue.  Pink champagne and giggles were the order of the day!

The ceremony was held out on the lawn in the garden.  While guests enjoyed canapes and drinks we went off on the couple shoot.

I must say, this venue certainly knows how to make divine garlic pizzas.  The sweetest little waiter was doing his rounds dishing them out!  The guests all thought he was a rock star!  We also loved the quirky bar set up in an old dam.

We had plenty of time for the couple shoot, so it made for a nice relaxed stroll around the farm.

Elzanne and Edward, thank you so much for trusting us with your precious memories.  We wish you many more years of fun and laughter together!

Elzanne would like to say a special thank you to the following people:
