Philadelphia De Malle Meul Wedding

Lisa & Theo

Lisa & Theo’s Philadelphia De Malle Meul wedding was quirky and colourful.  They decided to keep things small and intimate.  This way they could spend time with the people who are really important to them.  And what a joyous and beautiful celebration it was.  It was just the way they described it when we first met.  It’s so refreshing to meet couples who stay true to themselves.  We are honoured to have been a part of it.

Lisa and Theo are both avid bikers.  They adore adventures and going on road trips.  Their Philadelphia De Malle Meul wedding was in the perfect location for them, and their laid back lunch time wedding was more like a gathering of friends on an adventure out than a formal wedding day.

One of Lisa and Theo’s close friends conducted the ceremony.  This made it so much more personal, and with references to their own journey.  Lisa did so much of the décor herself.  She also constructed the gorgeous cheese cake which guests could enjoy as part of the canapes.

Philadelphia is one of our favourite little dorpies to shoot in.  It being the long weekend over Easter, we literally had the town to ourselves.  The only people about were a few locals and the wiry resident town doggy who always seems to know when there is a wedding.  He is almost sure to make a cameo appearance. Although it had been raining earlier on in the day, we had a lovely break for the couple shoot.  In fact, it was actually quite bright and sunny, so we were grateful for the shady spots we found.

Lisa and Theo, you reminded us again what a wedding day is really about after all.  Thank you so much for trusting us to capture the memories of your Philadelphia De Malle Meul  wedidng.   We wish you many more miles of adventure together!
