Overture Stellenbosch Wedding
Stacey & Shannon
What a beautiful Stellenbosch wedding! Everything about this wedding was perfect. From the venue to the weather to the gorgeous couple! The talented Belinda from Bella Bliss ensured the day ran smoothly. We loved working with her. She is such a hoot, yet so absolutely professional at what she does. It’s not often you get to work with a wedding co-ordinator who is so hands-on on the wedding day. She literally helps carry plates and clear the tables too! What a treat working with you Belinda!
Now back to the stars of this Stellenbosch wedding. Stacey and Shannon. Theirs is a really sweet love story. In short, let’s just say when they became flat mates, their destiny was already written in the stars. We loved hearing all of the anecdotes of the times they shared during the speeches by family and friends.
Stacey and Shannon live in the UK. Shannon, originally form SA certainly found himself a gorgeous English rose. I met them both last year when they were on holiday in Cape Town. From the moment they walked through the door, I knew their wedding day would be amazing. And it was!
What a wonderful destination wedding, with so many of Stacey and Shannon’s family and friends traveling from overseas to be with them.
Stacey and Shannon’s wedding ceremony at Hidden Valley could not have been in a more beautiful spot. On the lawn, next to the lake, with 360 views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. Such a treat for the overseas guests!
This was probably one of the liveliest canape times we’ve ever seen at a wedding. The Nomadic Orchestra band was amazing! Throw in some good wines, craft beers and South African snacks and you have the perfect pre-party vibe!
Stacey and Shannon were such a treat to photograph. Laid back and gorgeous! And we had plenty of time and beautiful light. All of this – the perfect recipe for fabulous wedding images. Not just that, but a lively bunch of guests in a beautiful setting and you get to capture loads of spontaneous moments too! Ah, we could wax lyrical about Stacey and Shannon’s Stellenbosch wedding, but I think we’ll let the photos tell the story.
